Elder Wayne Hatton

Wayne is thankful to the Lord for his many accomplishments such as receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering, an Associate Degree in Industrial Management and also Certified HVAC. He is also a Master Electrician, licensed by the State of Virginia. Wayne is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and has been employed by the Federal Government for the past 36 years, currently as an Electrician, working for the United States Marine Corp.Wayne accepted the Lord at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Jenkins, at the Macedonia Baptist Church in the community of Hobson, in Suffolk, VA. In the year 2000, the Lord directed his steps to assist in organizing Solomon’s Temple Ministry in Smithfield, Va., under the leadership of Dr. K. D. Shivers. After serving faithfully under that leadership, Wayne answered the call that God had on his life to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel in December 2007. After extensive study and lying before God, Wayne was ordained as an Elder in August 2009.Wayne considers it a blessing to be married to a woman of God, his lovely wife Elder Sarah Hatton for over 30 years. They are blessed to have four sons, 13 grandchildren, and 1 God-daughter.

Wayne does not take his calling lightly, but is thankful for every assignment that God presents. He wants everyone to know that if God can save him and use him, He can do the same for them.
